A young man from Mabopane, Mr Sthembiso Mchunu (27), is making is succeeding at manufacturing wooden furniture.
He established his business, Mchunu Carpentry Works in 2018 and he has not looked back since.
Mr Mchunu said he acquired the knowledge from his previous job, and he now employs two permanent employees.
“I have been able to create jobs for two people and I am very happy about how the business is growing,” he said.
The business has made a great positive impact in the community by being involved in community projects where they donate school shoes and free bread to the community.
“I would like to see myself having at least four furniture shops in 10 years to come,” he said.
